My name is Sean, founder of Rocky Road Knives. Home-schooled on a hobby farm in a small West Michigan town, you will usually find me hunting, trapping, fishing, riding my dirt bike or snowmobile, taking pictures, fixing something on the farm, shooting, working on my truck, or almost always playing fetch with my favorite Border Collie, Gemma.
I have been interested in creating since I was ten years old. Whether it be working with wood, leather, or metal, I was always tinkering and making things. Railroad spikes, old trap springs, and any scrap piece of material I could find, I enjoyed trying to transform something old into something new. Ten years later, I have found my passion in knife making.
